Privacy policy

Last updated July 2026. Plain-language summary of what we collect and why.

The short version

You can browse SaskTaxSales without an account. We collect only what we need to run the service: a bit of usage data to keep the site fast and honest, an email if you ask for alerts, and an account if you choose to create one. We use first-party analytics, run no third-party advertising trackers, and never sell your data.

What we collect

How we use it

We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell, rent, or trade it.

Cookies

We use a small number of first-party cookies strictly to keep you signed in (session cookies for member and operator access). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, which is why you will not see a cookie-consent banner.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers that make the product work, and only as needed for them to perform their function:

We may also disclose information if required by law. We do not otherwise share your personal information with anyone.

Email

When you create an account we include you in our new-listing alert emails, the same digests people receive from the alert form. Every one carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can stop them at any time without affecting the rest of your account. Other account and purchase emails are transactional.

Your choices and data deletion

You can unsubscribe from alerts from any alert email, and manage or cancel membership from the billing portal. To access, correct, or delete your account and associated data, email us at support@sasktaxsales.ca and we will action the request.

A note on property data

The tax-sale and municipal-land listings on this site are compiled from public government and municipal records. That property information is public record, not personal information we hold about you as a site user. How that dataset may be used is covered in our terms.

Security and retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal and accounting obligations, and we take reasonable measures to protect it. No online service can promise perfect security, but we limit what we collect and who can see it.

Children

SaskTaxSales is a tool for property research and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of majority.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above will change when we do. Questions about privacy? Email support@sasktaxsales.ca.
